After successfully completing her studies in tourism and congress at the University of Salzburg,
Verena Radlgruber-Forstinger was given the opportunity to get to know the hotel industry from the hostess's point of view
during a summer internship and was immediately fascinated by it.

 

This enthusiasm has lasted for more than 33 years and thanks to her urge for continuous development, of her professional path quickly led her to the top management level.

After several years in various management positions in the upscale private hotel industry,

Verena Radlgruber-Forstinger joined the International Radisson Hotel Group in 2003

and was appointed General Manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel Altstadt ***** in Salzburg for 5 years . In 2008 she moved to Vienna and took over the management of the Radisson Blu Style Hotel in the 1st district ,

which she successfully managed for 12 years until 2020.

 

A special moment in the career of Verena Radlgruber-Forstinger was her admission to the
EHMA "European Hotel Managers Association" www.ehma.com in 2005.

EHMA is an association of hotel managers from the European luxury hotel industry, who can become members
based on personal recommendations.
The most important principle of EHMA is to uphold the ethics of the hotel profession.
In 2012 Verena Radlgruber-Forstinger took over the organisation of the management

for the EHMA Annual General Meeting in Vienna,
attended by 350 general managers of the European luxury hotel industry.
In 2016 she became National Delegate for the EHMA Chapter Central Europe.

 

In addition, Verena Radlgruber-Forstinger was member of the Executive Board from 2016 – 2022  in the role of

1st Vice President. Since 2022 she holds the position of Deputy National Delegate for the chapter Central Europe

and is member of the Board of Auditors.

 

Since May 2020 Verena Radlgruber-Forstinger has been working as a self-employed management consultant

for the hotel industry.
